Dr. Justin Washington,
Dr. Washington is a compassionate dentist whose primary goal is to improve oral health in Houston and the surrounding areas. He has been a member of the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston since 2017 and previously served as the Health & Wellness Chairman. Dr. Washington is a graduate of Hampton University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated with honors. After his matriculation, Dr. Washington knew that he wanted to figure out a way to solve many community health problems. He continued his education by earning his Master of Public Health degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Washington was into the Delta Omega Honor Society for his academic excellence and community service.
He attended Meharry Medical College, where he served as Junior and Senior class president and graduated with honors. After graduating from Meharry, Dr. Washington completed a 1-year general practice residency with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Professionally Dr. Washington is a partner at Cosmetic Dentistry of Texas, where he performs all phases of General and Cosmetic Dentistry. However, staying true to his mission, he worked in Public Health Dentistry with Harris Health System. Dr. Washington co-founded the Maternal Health Dental program, which provides dental care to expectant mothers through 3 months post-partum. He is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is married to Hiji Washington, PNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, and they have three children, Melanie – 16, Natalie – 13, and Justin II – 11.
